Our Policies
Quality Statement
At Aurora Fairway School we strive to provide the highest quality service to children, young people, parents/carers and local authorities. We believe that children and young people, as well as others, have the right to comment on the service we provide and that they are supported to understand the complaints procedure.
If you do have a concern or complaint, we want to hear about it as soon as possible. Please see our complaints policy below or ask the School office for a copy if you would like to know more. Equally, we keep a log of all the complaints registered under the formal procedure during the previous school year. The number can be provided by the school office on request. For academic year 2022-2023 there were 0 complaints.
We like to know when we are getting things right too, so please feel free to also send us any compliments – our staff are always happy to hear them!

Relationships and Sex Education Statement
At Aurora Fairway School, RSE is an educational entitlement for all children and young people. It is lifelong learning about physical, moral and emotional development and sex, sexuality, sexual health, healthy, safe lifestyles and relationships, diversity, and personal identity. It develops self-identity, self-worth, and confidence of each individual, and encourages mutually respectful relationships and empathy for others. RSE involves a combination of sharing information and exploring issues and values. RSE is not about the promotion of sexual activity. Clear, relevant and inclusive RSE plays a crucial part in safeguarding children and young people, especially those with special educational needs and disabilities who are more vulnerable to abuse and exploitation. It also complements and underscores other key strands of delivery, including e-safety, anti-bullying and equality and diversity. For more information please see our RSE policy below
