Private Special (SEN) Schools

The Aurora Group operate private, independent special (SEN) schools that offer special education programmes across the UK.

We offer specialist therapeutic and academic support in welcoming and friendly settings. Across our UK wide facilities, we cater for children right through from primary age, into secondary and even support with the transition into adulthood. We support students with a wide range of disabilities from high functioning autism to social, emotional and mental health needs.

We recognise that many families who have children with special educational needs haven’t necessarily had a positive experience of mainstream education, so we are committed to providing a nurturing, welcoming environment that supports the entire family.

Our special education programmes offer small class sizes for an individualised approach. All classes are supported by both a teacher and a teaching assistant. All our staff our highly skilled with the very best of up-to-date training in an ever-evolving field.

We are often also able to offer support from onsite psychology and intervention services and ensure that Education, Health and Care Plan targets are achieved.
