Aurora Boveridge Careers Hub
Brand new for 2024! We now have a welcoming drop in Careers Hub for our students to stop by anytime during the college day, students can come and chat to the employability team about anything to do with careers, further education or work experience. Find out lots of information and be able to conduct research on the computer with support from the team.

Bright Futures - Gatsby Benchmarks
Whilst at Aurora Boveridge College all students will:
- Be offered career appointments with our level 6 qualified careers advisor once a year. Students can also request follow up appointments | Gatsby benchmark 8
- Have the opportunity to take part in our PSHE programme (link to PSHE programme- document is attached) where dedicated time for careers is built in each term. Covering topics such as interviews, apprenticeships and local labour market information | Gatsby benchmark 1, 2

- Virtual work experience opportunities | Gatsby benchmark 1, 3, 5, 6

- Access to Unifrog – online platform where students can easily explore their interests, then find and successfully apply for their next best step after school. - Opportunity to go on trips to local colleges and universities | Gatsby benchmark 1, 3, 7

- All students will be offered at least one work experience during their time at Boveridge, with the aim to get students one placement each year | Gatsby benchmark 1, 3, 5, 6
