Labour Market Information

Woodlands works with the GM hub (Part of the Bridge GM team) to have up to date relevant labour market information, to be able to plan a curriculum that allows learners to develop the necessary skills and for effective careers information, advice and guidance. 

What is Labour Market Information? 

Labour Market Information (LMI) includes all quantitative or qualitative data and analysis related to employment and the workforce. The goal of LMI is to help young people make informed plans, choices, and decisions for a variety of purposes, including career planning and preparation, education and training, job search opportunities and hiring. 

Bridge GM has used this data to identify the 9 growth area in employment within Greater Manchester. This information has identified 9 employment sections which are currently recruiting the largest amount of employees within the region.
